Our Mission is to give a national and global perspective to those working locally. Our volunteers help compile abstracts of researched material from multiple sources, presenting it to the broader public in ways that are easier to understand.

What difference will you make? Your input will enable us to respond more quickly to events and increase the number of blogs we can produce on a monthly basis in order to reach a wider audience.

Who we are looking for:

  • Is prepared to take proactive responsibility for newsletter generation
  • Has experience of putting together newsletters
  • Has experience of MailerLite or MailChimp software
  • Has a solid understanding of climate issues
  • Has experience of precising, writing and editing content
  • Has the ability to quickly understand the needs of our organisation
  • Can ask key questions to enable us to clarify requirements
  • Understands the resource constraints of a small charity and can work within these

What will you be doing:

  • Help us engage our audiences by improving our email newsletter format or create engaging newsletter content so that we can get a wider audience for our projects
  • Assist management in producing a regular newsletter, in particular
  • Set up a regular creative newsletter using the blogs generated by volunteers
  • Identify relevant areas that we’re not covering
  • Consider relevant questions that people might be asking that we’re not answering
