As a Senior Business Analyst you’ll lead by example, owning the end‑to‑end analysis lifecycle across complex projects and programmes. You’ll work in fast‑paced Agile environments, coaching junior team members and driving high‑quality deliverables.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading Agile business analysis across the full project lifecycle
- Mentoring and supporting junior analysts to develop their skills and confidence
- Facilitating workshops to elicit, define, and prioritise user stories and requirements
- Producing clear and accurate documentation including AS-IS/TO-BE process maps, user journeys, and functional specifications
- Supporting product owners, delivery teams, and stakeholders to align on business goals
- Modelling business processes and analysing system interactions and data flows
- Supporting change impact analysis and ensuring successful transitions to BAU
- Promoting best practices in Agile ceremonies and business analysis discipline
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident, capable, and collaborative Senior Business Analyst with strong Agile experience and a track record of mentoring others. You’ll be a self‑starter who can hit the ground running while building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
Key Skills & Experience
- Eligibility for Security Clearance
- 5+ years in business analysis roles with strong Agile delivery experience
- Proven experience coaching and mentoring junior team members
- Hands‑on delivery within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Ability to lead workshops and drive prioritisation with business and technical teams
- Strong documentation skills across process mapping, requirements, and user stories
- Comfortable delivering under pressure in dynamic environments
- Experience with both business and system‑level analysis
- Familiarity with change impact assessment and adoption planning
Desirable Skills
- Background in a consultancy environment
- Experience in legal, defence, government, or public sector
- Experience on infrastructure or transformation projects
- Understanding of UI/UX, wireframes, and prototyping
- Exposure to Waterfall alongside Agile delivery approaches
