We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly skilled Seamstress with 7+ years experience working across all garment types. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional attention to detail, strong knowledge of garment construction, and the ability to work with a variety of fabrics including silk, jersey, wool, leather, and more.
Key responsibilities:- Sew and alter garments across a wide range of fabric types.
- Perform both hand and machine stitching for a variety of garment types such as dresses, suits, pants, jackets and more.
- Interpret and follow technical drawings, patterns and customer specifications to produce garments that meet design and fit requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and machines are properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working with client designs.
- Minimum 7 years experience as a seamstress.
- Expertise in a wide range of sewing techniques.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, finishings, and fabric properties.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
