Location: Tunbridge Wells + surrounding areas

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Hours

Salary: £18.00-£25.00 per hour, based on experience, plus uplifted rates of pay for Bank Holidays

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Community Carers to provide high quality care and support to individuals living in their own homes, throughout Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Crowborough and surrounding areas. As a Community Carer, you will play a vital role in helping our customers maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. Experience is not essential but commitment and compassion to helping others is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance
  • Support with medication assistance and administration
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding where required
  • Help with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Promote independence and encourage customers to participate in their own care
  • Maintain accurate records of visits and care provided
  • Follow individual care plans and report any concerns or changes in condition to the appropriate supervisor
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for helping others
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Basic understanding of health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding (although full training is provided)
  • Willingness to travel between customers’ homes (opportunities for both walkers & drivers available)
