Are you a chef who believes food is about more than just what's on the plate? Catherines Coffee Lounge, based at The Salvation Army's Norwich Citadel, is at the heart of our community work - a welcoming space where good food brings people together. We're now looking for a Relief Chef to support our kitchen as and when required, helping us serve nutritious, well-prepared meals that make a real difference to people's lives.

About the role

As a Relief Chef, you'll be responsible for delivering healthy, cost-effective menus that meet a range of dietary and nutritional needs. You'll work in a commercial kitchen environment, ensuring excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times, and leaving the kitchen clean, organised, and ready for service. You'll also play a key role in supporting and guiding Assistants and Volunteers, helping to create a positive, respectful, and collaborative kitchen culture.
