Please note: In regards to location, this role will be covering and supporting The Salvation Army across a number of Churches in the North East and primarily in the Durham and Tees areas of the division. Therefore, travel will be required across these sites.

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:
The Salvation Army is looking for a professional, organised, and motivated individual to join the team based in the North East Division in the role of Administrator, supporting a number of our churches with a variety of administrative matters.
The role would suit someone who has excellent administration and organisational skills, and strong communication and relationship-building skills. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft is essential.
The successful candidate will support with a varied and wide range of duties which support the mission of The Salvation Army across a number of Churches in the North East and primarily in the Durham and Tees areas of the division. This will include support with:
- Finance
- Health & Safety compliance
- Maintaining Corps records and inventories
- IT (including Church Suite and Atlas)
- DBS processing
- Events admin
- Any other duties as required
Additionally, the successful candidate will be qualified to NVQ Level 3/5 GCSEs or equivalent or have equivalent work experience with excellent customer care skills and good attention to detail.
A clear driving licence and access to a car are essential to the role as it will require going to different sites each day. A mileage allowance will be paid.
