We are looking to recruit a Cleaner at Malton Church (Corps). The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the building is clean, neat & tidy, and ready for use while always maintaining a safe working environment. You will be a keyholder. Self-motivation, good time keeping, reliability, honesty and integrity are essential as lone working is involved in this post.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning of halls, offices, rooms, and entrance.
- Cleaning toilets, sinks and washing toilet floors.
- Cleaning kitchen areas.
- Weekly legionella checks as required.
- Ensuring that the external entrance is free from litter.
- Ensuring toilet supplies are replenished regularly and informing the Corps Officers of cleaning supplies needs in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience
- Ability to work alone and use initiative
- Knowledge of Health & Safety including COSHH
