We are hiring for an Assistant Accountant (Systems) to join the team!

Location: London/Hybrid

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Salary: £39,794.01 pa plus travel to work allowance up to £3,800 pa

Contract: Permanent

Benefits: Contributory pension scheme; generous travel to work allowance; 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays per annum, café discount.

About the Role

In brief, this role involves:

  • Maintain the organisation’s financial systems, providing support and guidance to users.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance and develop financial systems that meet the evolving needs of IHQ.
  • Assist the Systems Accountant and wider finance team in ensuring the efficient production of monthly management accounts and annual statutory financial statements.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • AAT Level 3 or above or currently studying for a CCAB professional accountancy qualifications (ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW).
  • Hands-on experience using financial systems (e.g. NetSuite, Sage, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Ability to explain technical accounting or systems concepts clearly to both finance and non-finance users.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

You will need to have the right to work in the UK and be in sympathy with the aims and objectives of the organisation.
