One of the UK's most inspiring and best known faith-based organisations, The Salvation Army, is looking for an enthusiastic individual with iTrent system and operational HR experience to join us as a People Support Adviser.
The People Support Team is a pivotal part of our HR Operations as the first point of contact for all customers wishing to access Human Resources. The operational work of the People Support Team is mainly split between the following two key workstreams:
- Processing - the accurate and timely inputting of employee changes and family friendly provisions in the HR Information Systems - iTrent.
- Onboarding - implementing the processes to bring new employees into the organisation.
As a People Support Adviser you will work within both workstreams and provide a professional, friendly, and resilient data processing service, including specialising in the onboarding process of new start candidates and employees in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in an HR operational role, be passionate about person-centred customer service and meeting people's needs, which will shine as you support people by finding answers to particular issues or referring to specialist support teams to resolve an enquiry when you don't have the answer.
In addition, you will have the ability to build relationships with the wider HR team and our key stakeholders to ensure you contribute to a seamless, consistent service.
We are looking forward to hearing from applicants who feel that they will play a pivotal role within our existing Team. The role will suit somebody who relishes the opportunity to participate in learning and developing at every opportunity. The most important aspects you bring will be your flexibility, attention to detail, and your unwavering commitment to customer service and HR.
Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references and evidence of your Right to Work in the UK in line with Home Office requirements. As we are not a licensed sponsor, applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
