We are seeking a talented individual, with experience as a Head of IT Security or Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This is an exciting senior role within the IT department, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer. The IT department of 54 supports 7000 users across 900 locations, comprising a comprehensive IT infrastructure delivering several line-of-business systems which reach out to all staff.
As Head of IT Security, you will require strong leadership skills, as you will recruit, build, guide and inspire a new security team. This is a real opportunity to shape the organisation's security function.
Responsibilities:- Be responsible for protecting all the information assets by defining the vision and setting and implementing the strategy for IT risk management, information security and cyber security.
- Have understanding on how to keep abreast of any current and emerging cyber security threats, which is a critical part of the role.
- Need to have expert knowledge of cyber security frameworks and best practices, for example ISO27001 and NIST.
- Good communication and collaboration skills are a must as a cyber-savvy workforce needs to be established and senior management need to be understanding of security threats.
