Please note in regards to location this role must be based within reasonable travel to central Birmingham and travel may be required across England and Wales. This is a fixed term position until 15 January 2027.

One of the UK’s most inspiring and best known faith-based organisations, The Salvation Army, is looking for an astute Quality Manager to take responsibility for the quality aspects of a brand new contract. The Salvation Army has been appointed to the Government’s new Modern Slavery Victim Care Contract to manage the support of adult victims of modern slavery in England and Wales. Since 2011, The Salvation Army has managed the delivery of specialist support to more than 24,000 adult victims of human trafficking and modern slavery across England and Wales.

As Quality Manager you will lead on compliance with, and development of, the Quality Management System across the Modern Slavery Victim Care Contract, proactively promoting the ethos and practice of continuous improvement in all we do. In addition, you will coordinate and participate in the completion of quality assessments, audits and the provision of training to ensure quality policies and practices are adopted and can be evidenced. You will also act as Health and Safety representative for the Contract Management Team.

Significant experience at a similar level within a quality management/risk management environment, with strong knowledge of ISO standards, implementing ISO audits, and developing, maintaining and continuously improving ISO compliant processes and management systems is required.

The ability to think critically, creatively and to be a solution focused individual with demonstrable ability to impact and influence performance and outcomes is essential. The ability to travel to work locations within the Territory with occasional overnight stays, as required.

Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, a Basic DBS Disclosure check and evidence of your Right to Work in the UK in line with Home Office requirements.
