My Client is seeking an experienced Sales / Surveyor from an Industrial Doors / Steelwork background, capable of managing the customer interface and taking projects from enquiry to completion.
Package: Excellent Negotiable Salary DOE, Car, pension and executive benefits.
Location: West Midlands Base (Anywhere in the Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Solihull, Coleshill locale).
My Client has been in business since 1966 and is a major independent door company specialising in the manufacture, installation, repair and maintenance of all types of Industrial Doors and Shutters. The Client has a strong and varied customer base in industry sectors such as MoD, Railways, Retail and Airports as well as numerous local and national businesses. They have a UK wide Branch Network.
The Client now seeks an experienced Technical Sales Surveyor to look after their Industrial Doors division including service, repair and installation.
- Preferably experienced within the industrial door market sector.
- Technical sales, estimating, site surveying and contract managing experience desirable (other technical markets may be considered).
- Good Electrical and Mechanical background would be an advantage.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work to deadlines and to manage and prioritise a workload.
- Good IT skills.
- Experience in a wide variety of contracts would therefore be an advantage.
The successful candidate would be expected to develop relationships with the existing client base, survey and cost jobs and see the projects through to completion.
