Lichfield, Staffordshire, located a few miles outside of Lichfield City Centre - away from the city rush and with plenty of onsite parking. You will need to drive and have your own transport for this location.

Salary £28k - £30k, basic of £28k dependent on experience + bonus (10%), so OTE of circa £30k.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday 9.00am – 5.00pm
  • Friday 9.00am – 3pm

Start Date: Immediate or to suit your availability. This is ideally a full-time permanent role of 38 hours per week, however there is some flexibility for working between 30-38 hours for the right candidate, with a pro rata salary.

An exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Executive / Telemarketing Business Development Manager to join a friendly team working in a relaxed, productive and supportive environment.

Job Description: We are looking for driven and conscientious sales professionals, who are eager to learn and grow within our business. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously across a variety of clients, providing them with high touch sales support and an excellent level of service. You will be responsible for using your research skills to identify potential companies that would be a good fit for our customers' products/services, making introductory calls to these organisations to qualify their requirements, with a view to booking appointments and gaining quotation opportunities. Managing the follow up process is a key element of this role. You will be expected to follow up on meetings held or pricing sent and agree next steps, continuously supporting the process to the point of conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation - researching Companies that would be a good fit for our customers using Google, LinkedIn and Companies House to gain Company Name, Address, Telephone Number and Decision Maker Names, entering all of which into the CRM system.
  • LinkedIn Prospecting - sending Connection Requests and Messages directly to Decision Makers on behalf of our customers, trying to gain an interest in the product/services that they offer.
  • Telephone and Email Activity - calling the records in the CRM system to introduce our customers and establish if there is a requirement for the product/services that they offer. Sending follow-up Emails to further progress the conversation. Completing all Qualifying Questions as set by our Customer within the CRM system, using the information gained on the telephone or by email.
  • Securing Appointments or Quotation opportunities with the Prospect, either for our customer to pursue, or for us to hold and pursue internally.
  • Follow-Up progression to Decision Phase - regularly communicating with the Prospect to gain feedback on the Appointment/Quotation, objection handling and liaising with our customer where appropriate for additional information.

Progression Opportunities: With this position, the company has a structured career progression plan and successful candidates, with a desire to develop, will have the opportunity to move forward into a Senior Indoor Sales Executive/Business Development Manager role and Team Leader role, with corresponding increases in basic salary, commission and rewards.

  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with good attention to detail.
  • Good Rapport building skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Positive, professional attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Experience:

  • B2B Sales: this could be Telesales, Face to face.
  • Using Microsoft packages.
  • Use of CRM
