One of our clients is looking for an on-site Project Coordinator. Involvement from project inception working alongside management and sales. Work with the team to produce schedules, resource recruitment, training documentation, and RAMS to meet all customer requirements. Determine and outline the potential challenges that can increase costs or cause delays. Assist with producing tracking documentation/asset tracking and use appropriate resources and systems to improve internal efficiencies within systems and teams. Ensure all logistics meet project requirements and engineer material resource requests. Act as an intermediary between upper management, customer project management team, and the internal project team. Produce MI data for internal/external stakeholders.
Maintain and support project schedules and spreadsheets. Asset tracking, site and engineer communications. Vehicle hire and engineer sign-off paperwork. Ensure project documentation and customer requirements are met against agreed SLA/set project dates.
Update the system when master data requirements change. Support order management functions as and when required (job creations, closure, creation of inspection templates, set up storage locations). Run management information reports from our Protean service management systems. Creation of MI reports for projects including stock usage and engineer utilisation.
Purchase order and web shop order creation. Support the warehouse team in creating new documentation/streamlining processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Communicate with external carriers regarding the movement of products within the UK or abroad. Cover for colleagues as and when required.
Assist with the creation of method statements and risk assessments with the help of colleagues. Understand fully the process map and update accordingly when required.
Ensure system work is actioned correctly on all systems. Accuracy on counts, reporting, and findings. Accuracy on goods in and out. Follow existing processes when dealing with stock movements. Carry out regular cycle counts and report back results. Investigate any discrepancies and recommend improvements to processes to improve accuracy.
This is a 12-month contract that is often extended or made permanent.
