My client, a rapidly growing B2B media, research, and events company is seeking an experienced Account Director to drive sales across their expanding portfolio.
Operating within the fast-paced world of eCommerce and multi-channel retail, my client provides high-quality editorial, research, and targeted solutions to brands and retailers worldwide.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled sales professional to work closely with an industry-leading client, selling content-led and sponsorship solutions across print, digital, research, and events. You will be engaging directly with businesses ranging from innovative startups to global blue-chip organizations, while collaborating with research, marketing, events, and digital teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development: Drive revenue by selling sponsorship and content-led solutions across reports, digital platforms, roundtables, retailer executive dinners, and conferences.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring long-term growth and client satisfaction.
- Market Expansion: Identify new revenue opportunities, prospect for new business, and expand market share.
- Networking & Events: Attend industry events, both in the UK and internationally, to establish connections and drive business.
- Strategic Growth: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and position the company’s offerings as effective solutions.
- Performance & Reporting: Meet and exceed revenue targets while maintaining a structured approach to pipeline management using CRM tools.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven success in B2B media sales, advertising, or events sponsorship with a focus on new business development.
- A strong network within eCommerce, technology, or retail sectors.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior decision-makers.
- Experience in client entertainment, networking, and high-level business discussions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach.
