We are The Salad Project, London’s answer to healthy food and a fresh outlook on how we live, feel and eat. Our founders Florian and James opened the doors to our first store in the summer of 2021. Today, we are a six‑store operation, expanding across London. At The Salad Project, our passion goes beyond the quality of our food. We are equally as committed to finding and nurturing our staff and so we are on the hunt for back‑of‑house team members, hungry for an exciting kitchen experience.

Role37 hours per week
- Prepare fresh produce and help make everything we need to build an awesome salad!
- Follow hygiene regulations and best practices to help maintain our 5* hygiene standards
- Play a key role in ensuring there is sufficient food (hot and cold) for key service periods
- Report to, pass on feedback from, and support a Kitchen Manager
- Assist in preparing and cooking daily deliveries of fresh food
- Assist senior chefs in opening or closing the kitchen
- Strong proficiency in efficient, quality food prep
- Positive energy and dedication to the team
- Ability to work as a team and build interpersonal relationships
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong ability to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Ensure service levels are maintained to the standards we expect and corners aren't cut
- Respectful and conscious when it comes to punctuality and scheduling
- Ideally, at least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen or casual dining restaurant
- Experience/readiness to work in a fast‑paced environment
- £12.75 per hour
