We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Waking Night Support Workers to join our friendly and supportive team in Luton. Are you a caring and reliable individual looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in people's lives?

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of the individuals we support throughout the night. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a calm and supportive presence throughout the night.
  • Monitoring residents' well-being and responding appropriately to any needs or emergencies.
  • Assisting with personal care tasks as required (e.g., toileting, changing continence pads).
  • Supporting individuals who may experience anxiety or distress during the night.
  • Following individual support plans and risk assessments.
  • Completing accurate and timely records of observations and interventions.
  • Ensuring the environment is safe and secure.
  • Assisting with light domestic duties as required.

  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults.
  • Reliability, patience, and a calm and empathetic approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and responsible attitude.
  • A willingness to undertake relevant training and development.
  • Previous experience in a care or support setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care) is an advantage.
  • A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check will be required.
