A new smokehouse and bar in Greater Manchester. We are a new company made up of industry veterans, tired of the usual grind, poor pay, terrible working conditions and back-to-back AFDs that plague hospitality. This is the first in a line of venues, combining top-quality drinks, casual dining and entertainment. It is the perfect venue for everything from after-work drinks to celebrations or hanging out with friends.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef at The Saddle and Smoke Ltd, in Tyldesley. The Head Chef will oversee high-quality food production, manage inventory, maintain kitchen hygiene standards, and collaborate with other departments to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Qualifications:
- Culinary skills, preferably in a smokehouse environment, but knowledge of smoking and willingness to learn will be accepted
- Food Safety knowledge
- Leadership and Team Management abilities
- Experience in Kitchen Operations and Staff Training
- Inventory Management and Hygiene Standards compliance
- Creativity and Strong Communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
