Start Date: September 2026

Job Details: Full‑Time, Permanent (as per STPCD), 32.5 hours per week. Starting salary – UQT from £22,601 or QTS from £35,703.

We are a specialist provision for pupils aged 5‑16 with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and autism spectrum conditions, all with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons in RSHE, Citizenship and Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Lead the teaching of RSHE, Citizenship and CEIAG at the school.
  • Prepare pupils for adulthood and their next steps by integrating inclusive and trauma‑informed practices.
  • Collaborate with a supportive and professional staff team and contribute to the school’s professional development culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MPS 1-6 (Qualified Teacher) or UQT 1‑6 (Unqualified Instructor).
  • Experience teaching RSHE, Citizenship and CEIAG or similar experience.
  • A commitment to a nurturing, trauma‑informed ethos and the CARES values (Courage and Compassion, Achievement and Accountability, Resilience and Respect, Effort and Engagement, and Safety and Support).
  • Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced check from the Disclosure and Debarring Service (DBS).
