The Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll be the engine of our outbound pipeline. Your mission is to generate net‑new business opportunities through dedicated prospecting – reaching decision‑makers by phone, email, and LinkedIn, booking qualified meetings, and laying the groundwork for new client relationships. This is a high‑activity, high‑impact role where your daily output directly fuels company growth. You’ll work closely with our leadership team and monday.com representatives, giving you direct exposure to strategic decision‑making and the wider monday.com ecosystem. It’s the entry point into our sales career pathway, with a clear progression route from SDR to BDR to Account Executive.
What You’ll Do
- Drive new business pipeline through outbound cold outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Hit daily activity targets: high‑volume dials, tailored emails, and LinkedIn touches to keep the pipeline flowing
- Research and target key verticals and buyer personas aligned to our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
- Book qualified meetings for the sales team – this is the primary KPI and the metric that matters most
- Execute structured outreach cadences and follow up consistently to convert prospects into conversations
- Maintain accurate records of all activity, leads, and pipeline stages in our CRM (monday.com)
- Collaborate directly with company leadership and monday.com representatives to refine messaging, targeting, and go‑to‑market strategy
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and the monday.com product roadmap to sharpen your outreach
- Contribute feedback on what’s working (and what isn’t) to help shape our outbound playbook as we scale
What We’re Looking For
- Confident in making outbound calls and writing compelling, personalised outreach
- Highly organised and goal‑oriented, with strong follow‑through on daily activities
- Genuine curiosity about SaaS, consulting, and B2B sales cycles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive and self‑motivated – you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with a mix of office and remote days
Nice to Have
- 6–12 months of SDR, BDR, or business development experience (not essential – attitude matters more)
- Experience with, or interest in SaaS solutions and work management platforms like monday.com
- Familiarity with prospecting tools
- Experience targeting industry verticals such as professional services, healthcare, media, or technology
- A track record of hitting or exceeding activity and meeting targets
Commission: £50 per qualified meeting booked (max 20 per month – up to £1,000/month additional).
OTE: Up to ÂŁ42,000
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm
Equipment: Choice of Laptop provided (Windows or Mac)
Additional Benefits
- Direct collaboration with leadership and monday.com partner representatives
- monday.com product training and certification opportunities
- Team socials and a collaborative, supportive culture
- Access to Perkbox employee benefits platform
We’ve built a clear progression framework, so you always know what’s next. As an SDR, you’ll develop the foundational skills – objection handling, active listening, effective communication – that set you up for success at every stage.
Level Framework
- Level 1: SDR - Generate pipeline through dedicated outbound prospecting. High‑volume activity and meeting booking.
- Level 2: BDR - Convert qualified meetings into closed deals. Consultative selling with a strategic self‑sourced pipeline.
- Level 3: AE - Own the full sales cycle for larger, complex deals, revenue targets, and enterprise‑level negotiation.
