This role is focused on generating new business and growing revenue through the sale of our commercial training programmes, including leadership and management development, professional qualifications, technical training, and bespoke workforce development solutions.

Whilst knowledge of apprenticeships would be beneficial, this is not primarily an apprenticeship sales role.

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of commercial training opportunities.
  • Conduct employer meetings to identify workforce development needs and recommend suitable training solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract close.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and key stakeholders.
  • Grow existing employer accounts through repeat business and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Promote apprenticeship programmes where appropriate as part of wider workforce development discussions.
  • Maintain accurate records, pipeline forecasts, and sales activity using CRM systems.
  • Represent S&A Academy at networking events, employer forums, and industry events.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, account management, or employer engagement.
  • Experience managing a full sales cycle and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience selling training, learning and development, professional services, or workforce development solutions.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeships and the wider skills sector.
  • Experience working within education, training, or professional development.
  • Why Join The S&A Academy

At S&A Academy, you'll be part of a growing, ambitious organisation dedicated to developing people, supporting businesses, and creating real career progression opportunities.

You'll have the opportunity to make a significant commercial impact while working alongside a passionate and supportive team.

Ready to drive growth and make a difference? We'd love to hear from you.
