The Ruth Gorse Academyis seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated Inclusion &Safeguarding Officer to join our committed Inclusion Team. This is a key rolewithin the Academy, focused on ensuring that all students are safe, supportedand able to achieve their full potential.
Working under thedirection of the Inclusion and Safeguarding Leader, the successful candidatewill support the day-to-day operation of safeguarding and inclusion systems,providing effective intervention, mentoring and pastoral support to students.They will play a vital role in promoting student welfare, managing safeguardingconcerns, supporting students with additional needs, and working closely withfamilies, staff and external agencies to secure positive outcomes for youngpeople. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who iscommitted to making a difference in the lives of students and contributing to aculture of high expectations, inclusion and care.
Potentialapplicants should have:
- A relevant Level 3 qualification or be willing towork towards one.
- A full clean UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of EHCP and SEMH processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-buildingskills.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people toovercome barriers and succeed.
