This role is crucial to our work as an Academy. The successful applicant will be expected to manage and develop the library, providing a suitable environment for structured and independent learning for both staff and students within the academy, and to maintain a stock of learning resources that reflect current curriculum needs.

Qualifications

  • Grade C/4 and above in GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
  • A qualification or experience in librarianship at a professional level.
  • A passion for working with young people to improve literacy and develop wider learning skills.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: SO1 (SCP 23-25) £34,434 - £36,363; Actual Salary: £29,747 - £31,413.
  • Membership of a teacher or local government pension scheme, depending on the role.
