As a Care Team Leader at Runwood Homes, you'll be all about professionalism, kindness, and compassion. The role requires you to plan and provide high‑quality care that makes residents feel safe, respected, and independent. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, ensuring they maintain the highest care standards. Keeping accurate records and communicating well with colleagues are key parts of your role. Our Care Team Leaders also support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, providing physical, social, and emotional care to residents. You will handle medication and ensure adherence to medication audits.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver person‑centred care that upholds residents’ safety, dignity, and independence.
  • Lead, coach, and supervise a team of Care Assistants to meet high care standards.
  • Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in all aspects of daily care.
  • Manage medication administration and conduct medication audits.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in person‑centred care planning and dementia care.
  • Previous leadership experience guiding teams to deliver exceptional care.
  • Positive energy, strong relationship‑building skills, and organisational excellence.
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care is advantageous but not essential.
