Job Title: Chef De Partie/Sous Chef – Live in

Job Overview:
Join our culinary team and showcase your expertise in food preparation in a relaxed but fast paced environment. You will play a crucial role in our restaurant\’s success by assisting in meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to the overall culinary experience for our guests.

Duties:
– Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks under the guidance of the Head Chef
– Follow recipes and presentation specifications to meet restaurant standards
– Ability to work as part of a team and individually
– Attention to detail, efficient and responsible
– Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures in the kitchen
– Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate food production
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage of food items
– Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen manager

Experience:
– Proven experience in a similar role for a minimum of 3 years
– Knowledge of culinary techniques
– A competent understanding of food safety principles and procedures
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions
– Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
