We are looking for a full-time Bar Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a bar, a strong knowledge of classic cocktails and a confident, outgoing personality. This person should be a natural leader with the ability to guide a shift while working collaboratively and support the wider F&B team.

Location: The Rubens at the Palace Hotel

Employment Type: Full time, permanent

Working Pattern: 5 working days

Key Responsibilities of a Bar Supervisor:

  • Welcome and interact with guests, providing friendly and professional service while offering drink recommendations.
  • Ensure team members are knowledgeable about the menu and provide ongoing training to maintain high standards of service.
  • Oversee cleanliness and organisation of the bar, ensuring it's fully stocked and ready for service.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the bar during your shift, managing service flow and product quality.
  • Accurately handle transactions and ensure the proper use of the POS system.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Lead the team, delegate tasks, and ensure the bar operates efficiently throughout your shift.
  • Support the F&B department where necessary.
