About Us RTR Group is a well-established Electrical, Building, and Property Services company operating across Essex, Kent, London, and nationwide. Were growing our specialist Building Management Systems (BMS) Controls division and are looking for a newly qualified or nearly qualified electrician to train as a BMS Engineer. This is an excellent career opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond standard electrical work and develop into a highly skilled controls engineer. Essential Requirements (please read before applying) NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or close to completion) Full UK Driving Licence Willingness to travel across the UK (with some overnight stays) Right to work in the UK The Role As a newly qualified Electrician you will: Work alongside experienced engineers and qualified electricians Support service, maintenance, installations, and callouts on customer BMS control systems Assist with fault-finding, repairs, and commissioning of controls equipment Learn to install and connect control panels, distribution boards, and cabling Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical layouts Provide excellent customer service on-site, representing RTR professionally What Were Looking For NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) essential 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred) ECS Gold Card (advantageous, not essential) BCIA Technical Certificate (advantageous) Strong work ethic, punctuality, and eagerness to learn Good communication and teamwork skills What We Offer Competitive salary: £28k for newly qualified electricians starting in BMS Up to £36k for experienced electricians with relevant site experience Overtime opportunities (paid) 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays (increasing with service) Extra time off: 2 festive days + your birthday Company pension scheme Uniform & PPE provided Profit-based bonuses + employee referral scheme Health & wellbeing support (online access) Regular team social events Structured training, mentorship, and clear progression into a fully qualified BMS Engineer TPBN1_UKTJ
