The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
To conduct process control with all chemical solutions, sample collection/analysis, react to process shifts, trend analysis and documenting. To be a self-sufficient department, operating as a ‘materials laboratory’. Processing sample parts/NPI or first off is when required.
This role will include
-
Tank maintenance and chemical additions.

Stock control of chemicals.

pH control and chemical analysis.

Producing and conducting tests on test panels.

Producing and conducting tests on Hardness, Salt Spray and Coating Weight.

Advise on RCCA when discrepancies occur.

Support production/quality issues.

Writing reports on findings.

Assist in Internal Audits, Continuous improvement and 5S, REACH compliance.

Maintaining a safe place of work, ensuring all activities performed are in accordance with regulatory and
company Health and Safety policy and requirement.

Degree in Chemistry (preferable but not required as training can be provided).

Aerospace/ plating experience (preferable but not required).

English, Science and Math GCSE, or equivalent.

Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.

Well-rounded interpersonal and communication skills.
