The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

To conduct process control with all chemical solutions, sample collection/analysis, react to process shifts, trend analysis and documenting. To be a self-sufficient department, operating as a ‘materials laboratory’. Processing sample parts/NPI or first off is when required.

This role will include

  • Tank maintenance and chemical additions.

  • Stock control of chemicals.

  • pH control and chemical analysis.

  • Producing and conducting tests on test panels.

  • Producing and conducting tests on Hardness, Salt Spray and Coating Weight.

  • Advise on RCCA when discrepancies occur.

  • Support production/quality issues.

  • Writing reports on findings.

  • Assist in Internal Audits, Continuous improvement and 5S, REACH compliance.

  • Maintaining a safe place of work, ensuring all activities performed are in accordance with regulatory and

company Health and Safety policy and requirement.

  • Degree in Chemistry (preferable but not required as training can be provided).

  • Aerospace/ plating experience (preferable but not required).

  • English, Science and Math GCSE, or equivalent.

  • Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.

  • Well-rounded interpersonal and communication skills.
