This role will be for a leading manufacturer of power & electrical equipment, with customers throughout the UK and worldwide. From supplying the UK’s largest property developers, F1 teams to the film industry and music festivals, you will be working with a diverse and dynamic range of customers. A fulfilling and rewarding career within our Factory team is on offer to the correct candidate.
As part of continued growth, our Southampton office is looking to appoint an experienced and professional electrician to use their working knowledge of electrical systems to complete a range of activities.
Duties:
- Perform fault-finding and manufacture distribution panels.
- Manufacture of goods in accordance with instructions detailed on worksheet.
- Install and commission electrical systems, panels and wiring.
- Diagnose electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
- Support factory production staff when required.
Key Skills:
- 18th or 17th Edition wiring regulations.
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing or factory setting.
- Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be a team player with a genuine enthusiasm to contribute to the company and staff.
- Experience at working to timescales whilst meeting customer requirements.
- Experience in Single and Three phase systems.
