Start Time Range: 9am to 10am (you will have a start time allocated to you).
Shift Duration: 4 to 8 hours (you must be able to work up to 8-hours).
Hourly Pay Rate: £12.75.
Overview: You will be helping cruise passengers with their luggage and baggage, taking it off the shift and into the cruise terminal, or loading from the cruise terminal into cages and onto the ships. This is a very physical job and will require you to lift and move items up to 25kg, and making sure the right items are in the right containers, assisting on and off cruise ships and coaches, loading onto conveyor belts.
What You Will Need for the Shift:
- Black steel toe capped safety boots.
- Plain Black work trousers (no jeans or tracksuit or jogger bottoms).
- Plain Blue collared work shirt.
- Yellow high viz vest.
- Plain black tie.
If you do not have these items, then you will not be able to work the shift. All candidates that want to work must complete an online registration form and provide employment check / right to work documents. You must be able to get to the docks in Southampton for your shift. Any candidates who do not attend booked shifts will not be considered for future work. We can only offer shifts when they become available on a temporary basis, if you cannot work the start time and the entire 8-hours then we will not be able to offer you the shift to work.
