Production Operative –Electronic Assembly We are seeking a Production Operative to join our team in the manufacturing of high-quality electronic products. You’ll be involved in soldering, assembly, wiring, and testing to ensure products meet industry standards and customer requirements. Pay: Competitive, discussed at interview (with discretionary bonus scheme). Hours: 38 per week – Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm (with a half-hour lunch). Benefits: Pension scheme with employer contributions, life assurance, and bonus opportunities. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out soldering (through-hole and surface mount) to IPC standards. * Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components following build instructions. * Perform wiring and cable harness assembly using diagrams and schematics. * Work across different areas of production such as PCB assembly, general assembly, surface mount, coating, flow solder, and testing. * Maintain a clean and tidy work environment. * Follow written instructions with attention to detail and accuracy. What We’re Looking For: * Previous experience in electronic assembly is an advantage, but not required. * Good manual dexterity and ability to distinguish colours. * Strong attention to detail, concentration, and ability to follow instructions. * Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
