Class 2 Drivers Wanted (at Multiple Sites Across Southampton)
Full-time Temporary to Permanent Opportunities.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:00am Start / 14:30 to 17:00 Estimated Finish Time (Always Job and Finish).
Pay Rates: Basic Annual Salary £33,000 (Annual on Target Earnings up to £37,000, including pallet collections).
Additional Earning Opportunities:
- Annual Profit Share.
- Uncapped Pallet Collection Bonus Average £200 per month (top earner makes roughly £400pm).
- Overtime also available paid monthly (after successful completion of probation period).

Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced Class 2 Drivers. We want experienced drivers who can complete an average of 16 to 25 drops per day to local counties, with more challenging long distance runs to locations like Exeter (completing less drops due to distance travelled). Most clients you deliver to will complete unloading using forklift trucks, but you will be expected to complete a small amount of handballing as part of your job.
If you have Reach or Counterbalance forklift driving experience this would be preferred, but full training will be given to all employees. The main challenges for this opportunity will be the need to engage with repeat clients/customers, with a high level of service, and representation, following guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Complete on average 16 to 25 drops per day to commercial clients in Hampshire and surrounding counties.
- Travel to more distant counties like Exeter to complete up to 10 drops.
- Complete manual handballing where required.
- Follow all driving rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
- Collect pallets to accumulate additional bonuses on your various deliveries and runs.
Essential / Preferred Skills:
- Class 2 driving experience in the UK is essential.
- Customer service orientated and engagement skills are essential.
- Full and clean UK driving license is essential (DVLA Check will be required before interview).
- Live in the Southampton area and able to get to work location.
- Eligibility to work full-time permanent in the UK.
- Supply right to work checks prior to interview.
- Will need to successfully pass a DBS background, employment, and security checks.
