Mechanical Engineer Wanted for a full-time permanent employment opportunity. Core hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Overview:
This is a challenging role that won't be the right fit for everyone. We are looking for specific candidates who can carry out designing, implementing, testing, maintaining mechanical structures, and supporting multiple products and services. Graduate Mechanical Engineer applications will be considered.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist mechanical engineering development activities.
- Support existing products based on business requirements.
- Produce drawings and documentation for projects, including changes as required.
- Calculate cost and timescales of design projects.
- Make and test new equipment prototypes.
- Travel as required to client sites in the UK.
- Work with QMS/IFS, design for manufacture and change embodiment.
Essential Experience Needed:
- Understanding of technical drawings, documents, and product manufacture.
- MS Office (Word/Excel/Visio/PowerPoint) and CRM database experience.
- Technical writing ability.
- Experience using AutoCAD/2D Drawing/Inventor/3D Modelling.
- Analytical approach to problem solving, strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Able to engage with staff and fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Worked to deadlines and have prioritised workloads.
- UK Honours Degree in Engineering discipline.
