Hourly
Pay: 13.50 Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am Start / 5pm Finish (40-Hours Per Week).
No Weekends or Evenings / Day Shifts Only.
Overview: We have an opportunity for a Reach Forklift Truck Driver and Warehouse Operative to join the business on a full-time, temporary to permanent basis.
Working in a Goods-in team unloading / loading pallets of perishable products from various vehicles (container lorries, vans, trucks).
Once items are received you will be responsible for storing all produce / stock away into their respective storage areas.
You will not spend all your time on the forklift, you will be expected to complete picking and packing duties (lifting and carrying boxes up to 25kg), as well as any cleaning and tidying in the warehouse or site, breaking down packaging.
You will also need to complete stock checks of goods coming in, and on occasion you will be required to stack pallets of items / stock / produce ready for collection from their dedicated bays.
Throughout your shift you will be working in a cold / chilled environment which can be as cold as -21 degrees.
