We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative and Forklift Driver (Counterbalance and or Reach) on a night shift (4pm till 2:30am, Monday to Friday) to join an experienced team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient materials handling, operating forklift trucks, and supporting warehouse management activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise forklift driving and warehouse experience in a controlled environment, ensuring smooth storage and delivery and receiving operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
  • Assist with materials handling, including stacking, organising, and moving stock as required.
  • Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing orders for dispatch and receipt of deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Load and unload vehicles.
  • Assist with stock organisation, inventory counts, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
  • Support warehouse team with general duties such as packing, labelling, and order picking.

Experience:

  • Proven experience operating forklift trucks (counterbalance) in a warehouse environment and a valid license.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
  • Knowledge of materials handling techniques.
