About the Role:
We are working with a well-established food production company seeking an experienced Food Production Supervisor to join their early shift team. You will work closely with the Factory/Shift Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, organise staff, and ensure production targets are met.
This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will lead by example, monitor KPIs, and keep production running smoothly in a busy FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support production staff on the early shift
- Organise daily work patterns and ensure staff understand their duties
- Monitor performance and productivity against KPIs
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and food hygiene
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Update and maintain company systems and records
- Work with management to ensure smooth production flow
Requirements:
- Supervisory or management experience (ideally within a food production environment)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Good IT skills for updating systems and records
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Full UK driving licence and own transport (due to rural location)
