About the Role:
We are working with a well-established food production company seeking an experienced Food Production Supervisor to join their early shift team. You will work closely with the Factory/Shift Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, organise staff, and ensure production targets are met.

This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will lead by example, monitor KPIs, and keep production running smoothly in a busy FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support production staff on the early shift
  • Organise daily work patterns and ensure staff understand their duties
  • Monitor performance and productivity against KPIs
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and food hygiene
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Update and maintain company systems and records
  • Work with management to ensure smooth production flow

Requirements:

  • Supervisory or management experience (ideally within a food production environment)
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Good IT skills for updating systems and records
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport (due to rural location)
