The Royce is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team for the Morning Shift at The Royce Aged Care, Penrith. This is a position offering an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents. As a Registered Nurse - Morning Shift, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality nursing care to elderly residents in line with best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Assessing and monitoring the health status of residents, and implementing appropriate care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for residents
  • Supporting and guiding care staff to deliver personalised care to residents
  • Documenting resident care activities accurately and maintaining up-to-date records
  • Responding effectively to emergencies and providing immediate interventions as necessary
  • Communicating effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals
  • Promoting a safe and comfortable environment for residents while respecting their dignity and independence
  • Participating in continuous professional development activities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge

Skills And Experiences
  • Valid registration as a Nurse with AHPRA
  • Prior experience in aged care or a similar setting
  • Proficient in administering medication and providing medical support to elderly residents
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality, compassionate care to elderly individuals
  • A strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and best practices in aged care
  • The flexibility to work morning shifts and other shifts as required
