The Royce, a leading provider of aged care services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant - Physio Aide at The Royce Penrith. This is a permanent full time position within our Aged Care department. As a Personal Care Assistant - Physio Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to our elderly residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with mobility in their daily activities
- Providing personal care and hygiene assistance as needed
- Engaging residents in social activities and promoting mental well-being
- Observing and reporting any changes in residents' health or behaviour to the nursing staff
- Contributing to maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents
- Running group exercise classes
- Promoting reablement programs as directed by the Physiotherapist
- Assist with structured pain management
