Accountabilities

With support from the Programme Manager, Grants, you will:

  • Manage a review of the RSC Researcher Grants Peer Review Group, a group of volunteer assessors for our researcher grants. The review will comprise data analysis and engaging with assessors through surveys and interviews to gather insight and feedback.
  • Develop recommendations, based on the review outcomes, to improve assessor recruitment, training, support, and overall experience.
  • Support the day-to-day administration of the Researcher Grants Programme, including analysis of impact reports.
Knowledge and skills required
  • Proficient in MS Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables and data visualisation.
  • Project management skills, with experience in planning, organising and tracking progress.
  • Creative problem-solver, able to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Knowledge of academic research and research funding environments.
