The Quality Engineer will support the delivery of the Zero Defects programme across manufacturing operations. The role focuses on implementing defect prevention at source through the structured application of quality and process control tools, under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Engineering & Quality.
This is a hands-on delivery role, providing additional technical capability to execute defined Zero Defects workstreams, embed improved process discipline, and stabilise manufacturing processes while longer-term capability and structural requirements are assessed.
We are looking for people who have:
- Experience in a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or similar technical role within a production environment
- A practical working knowledge of defect prevention principles
- A strong understanding of standard work and process discipline
- Demonstrable experience using a variety of process improvement tools
