Your role with us

This role leads on compliance with the Public Records Act and plays an integral role in the management of information within The Royal Mint.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day relationship with The National Archives, the Advisory Council on National records and Archives and other associated agencies.

We are looking for people who have

  • Demonstrable experience of defining and implementing a compliant Public Records Act framework and embedding a culture of good records management.
  • Experience working with records management systems, the provisions of the Public Records Act and related legislation.
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, internal stakeholders and external contacts
  • Experience using MS Office, including Share Point.

We are looking for people who are

  • Able to demonstrate sensitivity to historic records when forming judgements on their archival value.
  • Enthusiastic and self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and champion a strong information management culture across the organisation
  • Reliable and efficient with the ability to take ownership of tasks and follow established procedures
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in documentation, reporting and daily operations.
