Care Assistants (Days)

Care Assistant Overview : As a care assistant, you\’ll play a crucial role on our team, providing kind and supportive care to our residents. Your main responsibilities will include a wide range of daily activities such as support at meal times, and helping them with their personal care and hygiene needs, such as bathing and grooming.
But it\’s not just about physical care. You\’ll have the chance to connect with our residents on a personal level, sharing in their hobbies and interests. Maybe you\’ll help them cook or bake, or get your hands dirty in the garden. You might even accompany them on fun outings to local attractions or events, providing them with companionship and support throughout the day.

About the Home: Part of a large charitable organisation, Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh Court provides residential care, nursing and residential dementia support for up to 45 residents with permanent care or short-stay respite breaks.
Our in-house Training Manager is here to guide you through your induction programme, and our learning and development team is dedicated to helping you flourish and advance your career. We want you to feel confident and empowered to make the most of each day with us.
