An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated nurse to join the West Wing Clinical Research Centre (WWCRC), delivering innovative and early-phase oncology clinical trials at the forefront of cancer care. The successful candidate will coordinate and deliver complex clinical trial protocols, administer SACT and investigational treatments, monitor and support patients throughout their treatment journey, and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- To promote a safe clinical environment for all patients, visitors and staff.
- To participate in Trust initiatives around infection control and care quality indicators.
- To assist with any local or trust initiatives to ensure the continuous improvement of the quality of services and safeguarding of high standards of care.
Qualifications
Applicants should be registered nurses with oncology or acute care experience, strong clinical and organisational skills, and a passion for research and service development. Previous clinical research experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
