An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated pharmacist to join the Children and Young People's (CYP) pharmacy team at the Sutton site of Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, support the Lead Pharmacist, and deliver outstanding pharmacy services to the CYP Unit.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, deliver, develop and evaluate clinical pharmacy services to the Paediatric Unit in accordance with Clinical Services guidelines.
  • Provide a framework for the safe, efficient and cost‑effective use of medicine resources within the Paediatric Unit through ward‑based services, education and training, procedures, policies, guidelines, and medicines usage information.
  • Develop and maintain highly specialist knowledge of medicines used within Paediatric oncology.
  • Act as a role model for pharmacy in the field and ensure consistently high pharmaceutical service for the paediatric unit in line with national standards, Trust strategy and the NHS Plan.
