Outpatients/RDAC are seeking an enthusiastic Deputy Administration Manager to support the efficient running of our departments at the Sutton site. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our main outpatient clinics. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing a welcoming reception service for patients and their relatives, as well as preparing medical records for consultants’ clinics.
Main duties of the job:
- The Team Lead is a member of the Outpatient Administrative Team, covering the clinics, preparation and reception areas.
- They will adopt a professional and caring attitude with a polite and courteous manner in all aspects of communication.
- The post holder will support the Manager whilst providing a supervisory role to the OPD Administration Officers.

- To ensure that all patient appointments are booked accurately and to liaise with clinics regarding overbookings to minimise patient waiting times.

Occurring mainly in winter, it is an infectious respiratory disease capable of producing symptoms ranging from those similar to a common cold, through to very severe or even fatal disease. The wellbeing of our staff and patients is of the upmost importance to us, and it is the expectation of The Royal Marsden that all patient-facing staff have an annual flu vaccination, provided free of charge by the Trust.
