The role includes AOS clinical activity scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays. The postholder will act as the named Clinical Supervisor for the AOS Physician Associate (PA) and as the Clinical Lead for the Acute Oncology Service at Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust (ESTH). They will work closely with AOS consultant colleagues and the AOS Lead Nurse to ensure the PA receives direct clinical supervision and to oversee compulsory national data submissions (COSD), service development and governance.

The postholder will be based at the Sutton site of The Royal Marsden Hospital and will participate in the Royal Marsden out-of-hours medical oncology consultant on-call rota. Flexible working arrangements across the Royal Marsden and Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust sites are available.
