Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise a shift, communicating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, evidence‑led care to patients.
- Exercise clinical judgment and decision making about patient needs in terms of long‑term goals or plans.
- Participate fully in the day‑to‑day organisation and running of clinical trials, including recruitment, education and monitoring of patients entering a clinical trial and liaising as required with trial sponsors.
- Assume personal accountability for nursing care delivered to a patient in accordance with the NMC code of conduct.

Qualifications
- You will need to be a 1st level registered nurse with demonstrable post‑registration experience in the administration of IV medications, including chemotherapy.
- Experience with IV cannulation and venepuncture is desirable, though full training will be provided.
- You should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be a reliable, enthusiastic and effective team member, and be committed to providing the highest level of service to patients.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate clinical leadership and sound decision‑making skills.
- The role includes involvement in the development of nurse‑led chemotherapy clinics.
