This is a delivery-focused role for an experienced Project Manager who can operate comfortably at the intersection of business, technology and change.
The successful candidate will be able to move between strategic discussions with senior leaders and detailed project delivery with technical teams, while maintaining a clear focus on outcomes, value, risk and implementation.

Working closely with business leaders, technology teams, suppliers and other stakeholders, the Project Manager will translate business requirements into deliverable technology and digital solutions and ensure that change is effectively embedded across the Royal Kennel Club.
The role will be expected to operate as a business partner and change leader, rather than simply as an administrator of project plans.
Qualifications - Essential
- Recognised project management experience and/or qualification.
- Strong practical experience of project delivery.
Qualification - Desirable
- PRINCE2, Agile PM, PMP or equivalent project management qualification.
- Scrum or Agile qualification.
- Business analysis or change-management qualification.
- ITIL or equivalent service-management knowledge.
- Relevant technology or digital qualification.
Equivalent practical experience will be considered in place of formal qualifications.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience managing technology, digital or business transformation projects.
- Demonstrable experience managing projects from initiation through to implementation and closure.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing project budgets, resources, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Experience working with third-party technology suppliers.
- Experience delivering technology-enabled business change.
- Strong understanding of project governance and structured project delivery.
- Experience of requirements gathering, testing, implementation and business readiness.
- Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
Desirable Experience
- Experience of ERP or enterprise business-system implementations.
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central / Finance & Operations.
- Experience of Power BI, data and reporting projects.
- Experience of process automation and digital transformation.
- Experience of cloud technologies and SaaS solutions.
- Experience of cyber security or technology resilience projects.
- Experience of data migration and system integration.
- Experience working within a regulated or governance-focused environment.
- Experience of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project methodologies.
Knowledge & Technical Skills:
- Strong project planning and delivery skills.
- Excellent understanding of project governance.
- Strong financial and budget-management capability.
- Good understanding of technology and digital environments.
- Ability to understand systems architecture and integrations at an appropriate level.
- Understanding of data, reporting and information management.

- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools.
