Joining the Personnel Security team, you’ll provide wide‑ranging administrative support and will help to process National Security clearance for everyone working in the occupied Royal residences.
Key Responsibilities
- As the first point of contact for general enquiries, you’ll liaise with people from right across the Royal Households and with external organisations.
- Supporting the security clearance process, you’ll check the accuracy of applications, carry out vetting checks and maintain records to ensure compliance with Government security standards and internal policies.
- You’ll also provide regular reporting and analysis to the team so that important deadlines are met.
- Providing seamless support from day one, as you gain experience and develop your skills, you\’ll be trusted to take on more, such as supporting the wider team at events and with a range of projects.
- With strong administrative ability, you\’ll be keen to develop your skills and gain experience in a security vetting environment.
- Digitally fluent and with accurate data entry, you’ll quickly get to grips with bespoke database systems and use MS Office and Adobe with ease.
- Detail focused and capable of processing large volumes of information, you\’re organised in your approach to a busy workload, and able to prioritise deadlines.
