Key responsibilities

  • Working across public areas, facilities, front and back‑of‑house spaces, and bedrooms, you'll help ensure every environment is presented at its very best.
  • Joining our professional team, you’ll take pride in the cleaning, care, and upkeep of a wide range of interiors, furnishings, and historic items.
  • Learning from experienced colleagues, you’ll develop specialist skills and techniques, always striving for the highest possible standards.
  • Please note that while this role offers exposure to a variety of tasks, the primary focus will be on preparing the Palace for evening events, particularly through janitorial duties.

Hours of work

32 hours per week with flexible shift options: either 4 days out of 7 (including Friday, Saturday and Sunday) from 10:30 - 19:00, or 5 days out of 7 (including Friday, Saturday and Sunday) from 12:30 - 19:00.

About you

Essential Criteria

  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • We’re interested in your proactive approach and ability to tackle new challenges.
  • With attention to detail, you take pride in your work and aim for the highest standards.
  • You’ll enjoy working as part of a team and are happy to get involved in a range of tasks to support others.
  • Well organised and with good time management skills, you can meet deadlines and work efficiently to get jobs done.
